This is the classic California cottage with wood floors throughout and plenty of windows to let the sun shine in. For me it's the perfect location, with Sunset park as your front yard and the ocean beyond. Sit on the front porch and enjoy your coffee in the morning, or end the day there with a cocktail as the sun goes down.

The property is in Dana Point located half way between Los Angeles and San Diego, making one day trips to both Los Angeles (Universal Studios Hollywood, DisneyLand etc.) and San Diego (Sea World, San Diego Zoo, etc.) possible. There's a Trader Joe's right down the street along with restaurants and movie theaters. And San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Laguna Beach, and Newport Beach are just minutes away if you want to go exploring other beaches and towns.

​But you may just want to hang around the cottage and take advantage of the recently renovated kitchen and backyard.  We've built a new large patio off the TV room where you can enjoy barbecues and entertain if the mood strikes you, or just sink into a chair, put your feet up and get lost in a book.

 

You may be tempted to never leave the property, but remember, you're within a mile or two of some of the greatest beaches in California and the Dana Point Harbor. You'll find plenty of things to do no matter what your taste or mood with golf, tennis, surfing, fishing or my favorite - sitting on the beach reading, all with in your grasp.

Great happy-hours, barbecues, sunsets and relaxing days on the beach are endless. It's the classic California Beach living experience, life is good here.
